Nokia Concept Mobile Phones

Labels: ,

Nokia concept mobile phones offers a sneak view of the future aka dream phones. These concept phones offers a lot apart from making phone calls. Nokia concept-phones of the future uses Nano technology that self cleans its surface, detects environment, charges on solar energy, detects chemical composition in the air and is flexible among many other features.

Wears in, Not Out Concept

The concept explores how people could potentially upgrade their devices digitally rather than physically in the future giving people an additional choice on how they use and update their mobile phones.

Zero Waste Charger Concept

This concept explores ways to reduce the energy that is wasted when chargers are unplugged from a mobile device but left plugged into a live mains socket.

People First Concept

The concept is taking three human universals of the way people think about communication – time, lists, and people – it exams new user interface ideas.

Morph Open Mode

A nanotechnology concept Morph demonstrates the functionality that nanotechnology might be capable of delivering: flexible materials, transparent electronics, self-cleaning surfaces, ability to observe local environment and harvest energy.

Remade

Remade is a concept that explores potential new ideas for the future, and is part of Nokia’s ongoing work looking at how it can help people make more sustainable choices.

The concept consists of two parts – a wearable sensor unit which can sense and analyse your environment, health, and local weather conditions and a mobile device that builds on the "three Rs": Reduce, reuse and recycle – using printed electronics, bio and reclaimed materials in the phone’s construction. The concept includes use of alternative energy sources.

Eco Sensor Concept might include a separate, wearable sensing device with detectors that collect environment, health, and/or weather data. Information is transferred to the phone using Near Field Communications technology by touching the sensors and phone together
